Terms of use
Last updated:
These terms govern the use of srueda.dev. By browsing the site you accept them; if you disagree with any of them, it's best not to use it.
Site owner: Sebastian Rueda, individual, Bogotá D.C., Colombia. Email: sebrueda89@gmail.com.
What this site is
srueda.dev is my personal site: portfolio, case studies, guides and code labs. It is informational and a professional point of contact — it is not a shop and it does not deliver services online.
The estimate is not an offer
The /quote estimator computes a range with a rules engine based on your answers. It is guidance on effort and timing — not a formal quote, not a binding offer, not a contract.
Any real commitment — scope, price, deadlines and conditions — is agreed in writing after we talk. If the estimator's output and a signed proposal disagree, the proposal wins.
Intellectual property
The site's code, text, design and graphics are mine unless stated otherwise. You may read them, quote them with attribution and link to them freely; you may not republish them as your own or resell them.
Third-party trademarks, logos and screenshots belong to their owners and appear for illustration only. Case studies describe real work: where the client is not public, they are presented anonymised and without confidential information.
Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to breach, overload or disrupt the site or its APIs.
- Don't bulk-scrape the content or reuse it to train models without asking me first.
- Don't impersonate me or use my name or brand in a way that implies an endorsement I did not give.
Labs, demos and external links
The /lab and /series sections are experiments. They rely on public third-party APIs and may change, break or disappear without notice: I guarantee neither their availability nor the accuracy of the data they show.
The site links to third-party pages I don't control. I am not responsible for their content, their privacy practices or their availability.
No warranties and limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is”. I make a reasonable effort to keep the information correct and current, but I don't guarantee that it always is, nor that the site runs without interruption.
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for damages arising from the use of the site or the inability to use it. None of this limits liabilities that Colombian law does not allow to be limited.
Changes
I may update these terms. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Colombian law. Any dispute is submitted to the competent courts of Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
